BT ANNOUNCED AS CHAMBER COMMUNICATIONS PARTNER
Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, the North West's premier business support and networking organisation has announced that it has selected BT as its communications partner, allowing Chamber members to avail of the latest technological resources.
BT is widely recognized as a global organisation and for its commitment to offering innovative products, solutions and support on a wide range of communications and networked IT services. This partnership will enable BT and the Chamber to collaborate and bring further benefits to businesses in the North West.
The Chamber is regarded as the largest in the region, representing the interests of over 450 local businesses and with over 700 contacts. It is committed to helping organisations operate more effectively by providing a blend of networking, support services and access to government and with the additional support of BT, companies in the North West can be confident that they are in a safe pair of hands.
Chief Executive at the Chamber Janice Tracey commented, "The Chamber of Commerce in Derry lies at the heart of local business and by re-establishing our relationship with BT we are confident that we will be receiving a service second to none.
"The primary aim for the Chamber will be to develop a long-term relationship with BT that will develop and mature to achieve significant advantages in supporting the business interests of our partner. To promote flexible working BT will also be providing a 'Business Touch Down Area' at the Chamber office that will be open to local companies and members, enabling them to have access to the internet and e-mail.
BT is also the Partner of the North West Chamber of Commerce Initiative which is made up of members from Derry, Coleraine, Limavady, Omagh, Strabane, Letterkenny, Buncrana, Gweedore and Donegal Town. And with a membership in excess of 1,200, businesses in these areas will be well-placed to enjoy the benefits offered by BT.
