Cross Border Seminar & Networking Thu 25th March 2010
As part of our commitment to cross border co-operation, Chamber is a key partner in the EURES Cross Border Network, which was established to assist the free movement of labour throughout Northern Ireland and the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland. North and South, the development of our workforce both current and for future needs has been identified as crucial to economic development in the NW.

Eoin Magennis for Intertrade Ireland will address member's on obstacles of cross border mobility.
Barriers include:
Social and cultural factors;
Economic factors such as different tax and social security systems, pensions rights;
Recognition of skills and qualifications;
Accessibility and transparency of information; and
Different levels of service provision and the quality of transport links.
This will be followed by a networking session with fellow members of The Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce.
