The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are a unique challenge and offers a fantastic opportunity for UK businesses. Over the next five years there will be tens of thousands of contracts worth over £6bn.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has launched a new business network made up of three components, for local businesses to be involved in the 2012 games:

• CompeteFor: a new online business portal that will match buyers with suppliers. Contracts will be registered on the network where companies can register their interest in supplying to London 2012 and matches can then be made.
• Information: comprehensive information on London 2012 business opportunities www.london2012.com/business
• Events: a national programme of business events around the UK

Businesses are asked to register their interest on the London 2012 website and take part in this great opportunity
