People 'may forget what you say, do and look like but will never forget how you made them feel' agrees Chamber President.

One of Ireland's most experienced premier leadership speakers Will McKee addressed some 60 Chamber Members and guests at a business breakfast in the City Hotel this week on the attributes of a good leader and the "states" of great leadership!

Will commented that whether you are an Entrepreneur, SME or a in a Multi National the best leaders share key attributes - however he suggests that three of the most important are kindness and compassion and hard work.

Chamber President Ian Crowe, commented, "Will's humanistic approach to leadership made us all think about the importance of how we treat people - customers, suppliers, workers and other stakeholders. His comment that people 'may forget what you say, do and look like but will never forget how you made them feel' highlights the importance of a people centred approach to leadership."

Will has recently written a book outlining his approach. STAR describes best-practice approaches using real-life examples and demonstrates how you can measure your own competence across a range of critical behaviours.
