Research has shown that women see business start up as a way out of poverty, as a supplement to family income, a remedy to job loss or a remedy to the 'glass ceiling' etc.
WIE target economically disadvantaged women who face recognised traditional barriers to enterprise. We have designed a package of Programmes to meet a wide variety of needs, in particular we focused on being able to provide finance for part-time business development as well as for small service type business and home-based business who often find great difficulty in accessing finance.
