He continued "This is a great investment for the city and also a confidence boost to have such a high profile company locate up in the NW."Janice Tracey, CEO, also added that Fujitsu is the world's third-largest IT services provider and Japan's market leader in its field and is a truly international company with multi-million businesses across the globe. She said "This is a much awaited announcement and hopefully sees the commencement of a period of growth and development for the city. We look forward to meeting with the Fujitsu team. It will be interesting to hear what aspects of our city and region attracted them and to use that information to inform our investment work in the future."Chamber leaders from across the NW, including Letterkenny, Strabane and Limavady all welcomed this announcement. NW Chambers leader Niall Birthistle said "As a partnership we have always firmly believed in the maxim "NW is best". As long as the job is in the NW Travel to Work area there will be economic multipliers throughout the region. I have no doubt the economic effect of Fujitsu locating here will be felt across the region."
