SEAGATE HOSTS CHARTERED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS' ANNUAL EVENT

PROPOSED FINANCIAL REPORTING CHANGES COULD IMPACT 90% OF COMPANIES IN THE PROVINCE ACCORDING TO THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS (CIMA)

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) annual Continual Professional Development event was hosted by Seagate at Springtown recently. The event focused on the proposed changes to Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) that would impact financial reporting for the Province's medium sized enterprises and which will come into effect from 1 January 2014. The proposed changes could impact over 90% of companies operating in the Province.
