BACKGROUND

The Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1885, is one of the oldest and most historic in Ireland. It is also, in latter years, one of the leading Chambers on this island and the 2nd largest in terms of size in Northern Ireland. Many within the Chamber movement and indeed many external stakeholders both in the North West and further a field consider the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce to be the pre-eminent Chamber in Northern Ireland in terms of delivery of services, effective lobbying campaigns and provision of a range of networking opportunities to members.

In the last 6 years, the Chamber has grown significantly. The focus has been on increasing the profile of the organisation as the leading business representative organisation in the North West. The quality, number of and variety of events and services have quadrupled.

The Londonderry Chamber of Commerce now represents a strong pro-active group of businesses, which is the representative voice for local business and industry and has the ability to influence the business environment. A wide range of services are provided by the Chamber:

Each of the opportunities outlined will have a distinct and separate benefit, added value, input from Chamber, requirement from the Sponsor etc.

Each relationship with a sponsor is unique and will be managed according to the needs of the Sponsor and taking in account the nature of the event or communication medium and the area of focus being covered.

Therefore once a prospective opportunity is identified, please contact in the first instance the Chief Executive who will advise on the best fit for your company and will make an appointment with Chamber's Events and Communications Co-ordinator with whom you can negotiate individual details to best suit your needs.
