The Londonderry Chamber has recently launched a range of online training and skills sessions for members. The Learning Centre is a blend of free and fee-paying skills events held every Tuesday at 11am and there is a schedule of workshop events already planned through to November.

The hour-long sessions will focus on topics as varied as leadership, mindfulness, creating social media videos, online selling, and negotiation.

Paul Clancy, Chamber Chief Executive, said: “We are very excited to be launching our Learning Centre. We have partnered with leading media training and leadership development experts Bespoke Communications and Indigo Life to deliver a programme of webinars, video conferences, and face to face training events for our members, on everything from how to successfully negotiate and win new business, selling online, and developing your own leadership skills.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses in the North West to develop their skills, learn from best practice and fellow business leaders, and gain the skills and competencies to grow their businesses, especially at a particularly difficult time for our regional economy.

“We’d encourage as many members as possible to get involved with the Learning Centre over the next few months. Nobody is ever too experienced or too senior to learn something new and develop their skills further, and we know these sessions will be beneficial and enlightening to businesses of all shapes and sizes and in all sectors.”
