Chamber welcomes new member Crash Services

The Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome Crash Services as a new member.

The company recently announced plans to open a new branch in Derry as part of expansion plans that will create five new roles in the area. The new branch will open on the Culmore road in September 2019.

CRASH offer a complete one stop service for motorists involved in road traffic accidents. This includes; vehicle recovery, collision investigation, repairs, replacement vehicles, claims management, legal and medical assistance. CRASH can assist any motorist, regardless of what they drive or who they are insured with.

CRASH have experienced significant growth in business over the last two years, with cases handled increasing by nearly 20%. CRASH now handle an estimated one in every six non-fault accidents in Northern Ireland. Staff numbers within the business will rise to 88 when recruitment is complete in June, an overall rise of 12 since last year.

Jonathan McKeown, Chief Executive Officer at CRASH, commented on the continued growth of CRASH: “We are well established in the accident management sector, having been in operation for over 23 years. We help motorists all over Northern Ireland from our existing offices in both Belfast and Newry.”

“Our service is very appealing to motorists.  We aim to get motorists back on road as quickly and with as little hassle as possible.  There is no fee for our accident management service as all costs are recovered from the insurers involved. Our customers can be rest assured that we inform them of all their entitlements, so they are at no financial loss as a result of their accident.

“We have been considering opening a Derry/Londonderry office for some time now and are delighted to have secured premises in a prime location within the city.  We have several existing long-term relationships with car repairers, motor dealers and insurance brokers in the area and we hope to establish new partnerships with local businesses over the coming months.”
