Co-Founders is a unique 10-week programme for anyone curious about first-time entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship, or early-stage startups. Catalyst are looking for motivated individuals:

with an idea foran exciting new product but need a team to make it happen.
who don’t have an idea for a business but have the skills in engineering, design, business, marketing, sales, finance and more, to join a team.

The programme is delivered free of charge online via a series of immersive workshops and mini lectures. Selection is by application and interview. The deadline for applications for the next programme is 8th February. The programme kicks off with a Hothouse Weekend on 19th & 20th February followedby a Design Bootcamp 6th March 2021 before settling down to its regular Monday evening slot of 6pm – 8.30pm from 8th March to 7th June 2021.

Presenter bios:

Jacqueline McCann, Programme Manager for Catalyst Co-Founders, a program for early-stage entrepreneurs with technology-focused solutions to help them validate their ideas and create commercially-focused MVPs. She is also aBusiness Mentor for Irish HPSUs, helping them on brand strategy and product road-mapping. She has worked with the ISRC (Intelligent Systems Research Centre) at UU to help them design their Vision and Mission.

With 20 years in Innovation Consultancy, Jacqueline has worked across a wealth ofinternational markets, specialising in Product & Service Development, Brand Strategy and Customer Insight. She has led global innovation projects for companies such as Unilever, Diageo, General Mills, Tetra Pak, Allstate, Danske Bank, Astra Zeneca and Heineken, as well as development and delivery of Innovation Programs for many large international companies and Irish entrepreneurship entities. She is named on three AstraZeneca patents for pharmaceutical packaging.

Formedon most recent Co-Founders, Walnut is a corporate wellness product focused on reducing the negative impact of stress on businesses and their employees.

Jason McDevitt & Sinéad Lynch, Ruby’s Fitness App

Jason and Sinead are alumni from the Catalyst Co-Founders Programme. The product is an innovative new app to promote and focus on exercise and wellnessfor children and adults with additional needs. Ruby’s Fitness App has been developed and promoted throughout the process and is currently at the prototype stage, where it is being tested out by the very enthusiastic staff and students of Ardnashee School.
