Digital Marketing has become a necessity

Marketing is evolving faster than ever before. Digital is no longer an afterthought in the overall marketing mix – it has become a necessity in its own right. Consumers are living fast paced, on the lifestyles and traditional marketing alone no longer works! Brands that fail to engage in Search, Social, Mobile and Email Marketing are missing a huge opportunity to connect with today’s ‘always on’ consumer and to connect for FREE at that. 

Here's a tough question for you, how many of you would be happy leaving the house without your mobile phone?

Mobile Marketing fits so perfectly into the change in Marketing.Mobile phones are embedded into daily lives by keeping us connected, managing our lives, entertaining us and providing real time information, purchasing via our mobile phones, through websites and apps.

This year, 15% of online retail sales will take place via mobile devices, according to eMarketer, up from 11% in 2012. By 2017, the percentage will rise to 25%.

UK adults spend an average of eight hours and 41 minutes a day on media devices,compared with the average night's sleep of eight hours and 21 minutes. It's almost becoming a '#trend' for us to be online more than we actually sleep. So for businesses there is such a larger opportunity to grab their audience.
